Kinabalu Daya Hotel

Events & meetings

Three venues in the middle of Kota Kinabalu, from a 20-person U-shape to a 250-seat ballroom — with the capacity numbers spelled out below, not behind a phone call.

Capacities, by setup

Grand Ballroom

Theatre
250
Banquet
180

Ballroom formats only — no classroom or U-shape setups.

The three venues

Hibiscus Hall

Meetings, training days, and private dinners

The smaller of the two halls, and the right size for most working days: a board meeting in a U-shape of 20, a training session for 40, or a private dinner that seats the whole company.

Rafflesia Hall

Seminars, workshops, and mid-size banquets

The workhorse. Theatre seating for 180 or classroom rows for 100 — seminars, product briefings, and workshops land here, and it turns around into a 100-seat banquet by evening.

Grand Ballroom

Weddings, annual dinners, and large conferences

The big room, kept for big nights: 250 theatre-style or 180 at banquet rounds. Ballroom formats only — it doesn't do classroom or U-shape, and it isn't meant to.
